The Isle of Man 45-and-over national tennis team had a strange 2025 campaign.
The team, consisting of captain Neil Ronan, Rob Mason, Nerijus Gricevicius, and Jos Woolford, was scheduled to play against Cornwall and Hampshire at home and Devon and Warwickshire away.
However, things did not go as planned. Cornwall jumped in to play the team on the same weekend they were travelling to Devon, and communication with Warwickshire proved difficult, while Hampshire withdrew.
The team only completed two fixtures, starting with the match against Cornwall, where Gricevicius won 6-1, 6-2 against Jim Watkins.
Woolford had a tougher time at second singles against Andy Phillips.
