The Fatah movement emphasized that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the State of Palestine are the sole legitimate framework for protecting the national project.

unilateral policies and attempts to bypass or undermine national legitimacy will never succeed, as sovereignty and jurisdiction over the land of the State of Palestine are the exclusive right of the Palestinian people and their legitimate institutions.
