Tirumala Ghee Adulteration: Subba Reddy PA Arrested
A former personal assistant to Y V Subba Reddy, a Rajya Sabha member and ex-Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman, was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the alleged adulteration of ghee used in the preparation of the famous Tirumala laddu prasadam.
This marks the first political-linked arrest in the ongoing investigation into the supply of substandard and adulterated ghee to the TTD during the previous YSRCP government.
