TRAFFIC ALERT: Truck Collides with Bridge on I-59
A single vehicle accident on I-59 has closed one lane of traffic, causing significant delays.
A pick-up truck collided with the Bouie River bridge on I-59 NB, near the Hwy 49 interchange.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, motorists should expect delays until a wrecker can arrive on scene to move the vehicle.
No serious injuries have been reported at this time, and MHP does not anticipate any significant damage to the bridge.
