The Robert Parker Coffin Bridge in Long Grove has been struck by a large trailer, marking at least the 69th time the bridge has been hit.
The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. on Thursday and was partially caught on surveillance video by Neumann’s Cigars and More.
Neumann’s Cigars and More was alerted to the hit by their nighttime security service.
The bridge was previously hit in June by a box truck’s roof and on May 20 by a box truck belonging to Northwest Trucks Inc.
No comment from authorities or truck owners was available.
