I loved my job at a big network agency (BNAJ). The coffee was bad, but cheap. The briefs were often unbelievable, and my colleagues were brilliant and hilarious.
Every single day I’d come in and have a conversation with someone that reminded me how lucky I was to have what was surely one of the most enjoyable means of earning a living ever invented.
However, I had begun to feel stale. Running a large business requires systems, layers, and established ways of working, including timesheets. Despite trying to resist, I had come to accept these things.
Author's summary: Leaving a big network agency can be a great escape.
