Our first starters deserve more.
The issue arises about five to seven hours into the game, after a slow and boring tutorial sequence, where the player must fight a designated trainer to achieve Rank W in the tournament.
The author feels that this side mission disrespects the beloved starters in Pokémon history, which have been a part of the franchise for nearly three decades.
