Iran Unveils Christian-Themed Metro Station Amid Religious Persecution Controversy
Inside Tehran’s newest metro station, a plaque states:
“the message of Jesus Christ was the salvation of humans from darkness, ignorance, corruption, depravity and discrimination.”The station, named Maryam-e Moqaddas or Holy Mary station, features a relief of Christ and a depiction of Mary praying among flowers.
