The Newcastle Knights have unveiled their new Classic home and away jerseys, which feature the iconic red and blue stripes from their most successful era.
The design is a throwback to the team that won the club's inaugural premiership in 1997, with players like Chief Harragon, Joey Johns, Matty Johns, Darren Albert, and Robbie O'Davis making the strip famous.
The strip was worn on that glorious day, Sunday, September 28, when the Knights beat Manly 22-16 at the Sydney Football Stadium.
The new kit will be worn for the next two NRL seasons, and fans can access more content, including digital versions of print editions, with a digital subscription.
