Shakir Mukhamadullin returned to the San Jose Sharks’ lineup after an upper-body injury, facing the New Jersey Devils, the team that drafted him in 2020.
Mukhamadullin was acquired by the Sharks in February 2023 as part of a trade involving Timo Meier. He recalled the moment he learned of the trade:
I [was] in Russia, and [at] 5am in the morning, my agent just told me that the trade happened.
