Residents Plea for Reassessment Pause
A Lackawanna County budget hearing was held on Thursday, where residents requested a pause in the nearly completed property reassessment.
Speakers, including farmer Keith Eckel, Newton Twp. Board of Supervisors Chairman Doug Pallman, and Kevin Gilbride, owner of Gilbride Limousine, asked the county to explore legal options to extend the January deadline.
