Area Football and Volleyball Teams Prepare for State Tournaments
As Idaho's fall prep sports season comes to a close, several teams from the Tribune readership area are gearing up for state tournaments in football and volleyball.
- Lewiston (Class 5A)
- Kendrick, Kamiah, Logos of Moscow, Prairie of Cottonwood, and Potlatch (2A)
- Deary, Genesee, Timberline of Weippe, and Salmon River of Riggins (1A)
In volleyball, the following teams have advanced to the state level:
- Moscow (5A)
- Kamiah and Troy (2A)
- Genesee and Salmon River of Riggins (1A)
The Moscow Bears secured their first state volleyball tournament berth in three years by defeating Lewiston and then overcoming Pocatello in a five-set Class 5A play-in match.
