Castellano Brothers Fuel Fairport Football's Historic Run
Many successful athletic journeys begin in the backyard, and the Castellano brothers are no exception.
"Oh yeah, we used to play a lot of two-on-two football," said senior Jan Castellano. "It was really aggressive. It was never hand-touch or anything like that. Someone would end up crying, we'd go inside and before you knew it, we were back outside playing. We were little, but it was tough stuff."
The Castellano brothers - Kevin, Jan, Yomar, and Abraham - spent their childhood sharpening their skills as hard-nosed, elusive, and improvisational players in their backyard.
