Shreyas Iyer is now stable and on the road to recovery, according to the latest health update from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Iyer suffered a spleen laceration injury during the third ODI against Australia in Sydney. The injury occurred while taking the catch of Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.
