Shreyas Iyer's Health Update
Shreyas Iyer is now stable and on the road to recovery, according to the latest health update from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Iyer suffered a spleen laceration injury during the third ODI against Australia in Sydney. The injury occurred while taking the catch of Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.
Shreyas Iyer sustained a blunt injury to his abdomen, resulting in a laceration of his spleen with internal bleeding on 25th October during the third ODI against Australia.
Iyer was taken to the hospital for further evaluation and was later admitted to the ICU, where he continues to be under observation.
