Polish Catholic School Celebrates 25 Years

A Mass of thanksgiving was celebrated on Sunday, October 26, in honor of the 25th anniversary of St. John Paul II Polish Catholic School at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish in Phoenix.

The school, named after the late Polish pontiff, teaches young children the Polish language, culture, history, and geography, as well as Polish patriotic and Catholic traditions on Saturdays.

Bishop John Dolan presided over the Mass, which was followed by a community meal and a special program prepared by the school children, graduates, and teachers.
