Exergy Unveils High-Capacity Turbine for Geothermal Projects
Exergy International has introduced the Gemini Turbine, a high-capacity turbine design that delivers up to 60 MW using Radial Outflow Turbine technology.
The Gemini Turbine, developed in-house by Exergy's Turbine team in Italy, sets a new standard for efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness in large-scale geothermal power generation, making it suitable for Enhanced and Advanced Geothermal Systems (EGS and AGS).
The turbine features a dual-inlet design with a central rotor disk and dual mirrored rotor stages, allowing the working fluid to enter symmetrically and expand radially outward.
The Gemini sets a new benchmark for efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness in large-scale geothermal power generation.
