VATICAN CITY — According to Pope Leo XIV, the supreme rule in the Catholic Church is love, which compels all of the faithful to serve, not to judge, exclude or dominate others.
No one should impose his or her own ideas; we must all listen to one another. No one is excluded; we are all called to participate.
Pope Leo XIV emphasized the importance of humility in seeking truth, stating that
No one possesses the whole truth; we must all humbly seek it and seek it together.
This message was delivered during a Mass in St. Peter's Basilica, marking the closing of the Jubilee of Synodal Teams and Participatory Bodies, which took place from Oct. 24-26.
