Virgin Atlantic to Develop Bespoke English Sparkling Wine
Virgin Atlantic is collaborating with Hambledon Wine Estate to create a signature English sparkling wine, to be served onboard from 2029.
The bespoke blend, harvested during the 2025 season, will mature before being poured for passengers.
- Partnership began in 2019 with Virgin Atlantic serving Hambledon Classic Cuvée in Upper Class.
- The wine became a popular choice, served alongside Champagne as part of the airline's premium drinks selection.
The initiative represents the next evolution of the partnership, with a tailored blend designed to capture English terroir and perform at high altitude.
