Environment Minister Lauds Transformation at Forestry Department
The environment minister has praised the transformation at the Forestry Department, citing a decrease in negative reports related to illegal logging and forest intruders.
According to the minister, since Lt. Colonel Salifu Corr took over as director, there have been fewer negative reports emanating from the department.
The environment minister attributed this achievement to the director's commitment, hard work, and honesty in protecting the forest cover.
Fourteen graduates were recently recognized, with the director of the Department of Forestry, Lt. Colonel Salifu Corr, addressing them.
