£700m East West Rail Tender
A virtual bidders day for the Oxford–Cambridge route is set to take place, focusing on preparatory and support works.
The eight-year Programme Support Works Framework will consist of five lots, including archaeology, ground investigation, and principal contractor/minor civils, with a tender due in April 2026.

- Framework due to go live: January 2027
Consultant Arcadis is acting as procurement and commercial partner for the £700m framework.
EWR Co will provide information on its emerging thinking on packaging and the contracting approach for the framework.
