Unsolved Case: 14 Years After 5-Year-Old's Killing

Fourteen years ago, 5-year-old Allison Griffor was fatally injured when a shotgun was fired through the front door of her home.

She died two days later in the hospital, and despite the Charleston County Sheriff's Office pursuing leads, no arrest has been made.

The incident occurred when someone knocked on the door around 1 a.m. and her father went to answer it, at which point a shotgun was fired through the door.

Persons of interest were developed in the case, but no arrests were ever made.

No new leads have been reported in the case.
