Nana Konadu's Legacy
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Shamima Muslim described the passing of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings as a great national loss.
She emphasized that her legacy in women's empowerment will forever be remembered, noting that her contributions through the 31st December Women's Movement transformed the lives of countless Ghanaian women.
You cannot talk about women's empowerment in Ghana without mentioning Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings. Her movement mobilized women across the country to engage in economic activity and unleashed their creative potential.
Shamima praised the late former First Lady for standing firmly by her husband, former President Jerry John Rawlings, throughout the PNDC and NDC eras.
