Gaza Peace Summit Invitation
US President Donald Trump has formally invited Greece and Cyprus to a Gaza peace summit in Egypt, scheduled for October 13, 2025, in Sharm el-Sheikh.
The invitations were extended to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, highlighting their countries' roles in Eastern Mediterranean diplomacy.
The summit, chaired by President Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will address the worsening humanitarian crisis and ongoing conflict in Gaza, following a historic ceasefire deal.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will attend the conference.
The event is organized amid heightened international concern over the situation in Gaza.
