Global Internet Outage Resolving
A global internet outage has been affecting hundreds of websites and apps, leaving people unable to access social media, gaming, and banking apps.
The issue is believed to be linked to Amazon Web Services, which provides services to firms worldwide, with customers in the US being hit the worst.
Ronan Murphy, Chief Strategy Officer for Forcepoint, says things are slowly picking back up now.
Users were unable to access their accounts on Zoom and WhatsApp, but services are now getting back up and running.
Other news: Gardaí arrested two teenagers, and a new leaflet titled ‘Eating for a Healthy Heart’ was developed in St Anne’s Unit.
