Suspected Stolen Mercedes Hits Footpath After Police Chase
Footage has emerged of a suspected stolen Mercedes car careening along a footpath after attempting to swerve a police stinger during a high-speed pursuit.
The incident occurred on Sturry Road in Canterbury, where patrols had requested the driver to stop at around 10am on October 11. However, the driver continued, hitting three other cars before losing the officers.
- The police used a stinger device to try and stop the speeding Mercedes on the A28 Island Road.
- The vehicle attempted to swerve the trap but its offside rear tyre was clipped.
