Watkins Glen Students Say They’ve 'Seen Enough' Tobacco Marketing

Young people across New York are taking a stand against tobacco marketing saying they’ve “seen enough.”

Friday marked the annual “Seen Enough Tobacco Day,” a youth-led day of action organized by Reality Check, part of the state’s broader anti-tobacco efforts.

The campaign calls out how tobacco companies continue to target young people through flavored products, bright packaging, and store displays placed near candy and snacks.

Despite federal restrictions on tobacco sales to people under 21, Reality Check says the industry still spends billions of dollars on marketing designed to appeal to youth.

The campaign highlights how flavored nicotine pouches and e-cigarettes are among the top products used by underage users.

They’ve “seen enough.”
