The Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga is on a temporary break until March 2026.
The series has been put on hiatus, as confirmed in the December 2025 issue of the magazine, and is expected to return in the March 2026 issue of Jump SQ.
This is not the first time the sequel has been paused, leaving fans waiting for the continuation of Kenshin Himura's journey.
The original Rurouni Kenshin manga has sold over 72 million copies worldwide, creating a massive fanbase that is eagerly following the sequel.
The Hokkaido Arc continues the story of the legendary swordsman, with this latest interruption being one of several since its serialization began in September 2017.
No official statement has been released regarding the reason for the break.
