As midterm elections approach, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has announced the revival of a redistricting advisory commission to recommend new congressional maps.

The Governor’s Redistricting Advisory Commission, which meets every decade to redraw legislative and congressional maps based on Census results, will be chaired by Angela Alsobrooks, the former Prince George’s County executive.
