Waldo Cortés-Acosta's fight against Ante Delija at UFC Vegas 110 was one for the books.
Cortés-Acosta walked out of the Apex Octagon with a badly injured eye, but with a victory in his pocket, after one of the wildest heavyweight fights in recent memory.
Ante Delija had seemingly finished the Dominican fighter, but an eye poke from the Croatian nullified the referee’s initial decision.
Once Cortés-Acosta confirmed he was able to continue, the bout was resumed.
Moments later, with "only 20% vision," Cortés-Acosta stunned everyone by putting his opponent to sleep with a thunderous right overhand.
The fight began calmly, with Cortés-Acosta waiting for Delija’s first move.
