Dia De Los Muertos
Dia De Los Muertos is an annual cultural celebration where people honor their deceased friends and family with ornate makeup looks.
Known as Day of the Dead, it is a Mexican cultural celebration observed on November 1-2, although it is not connected to Halloween.
Día de los Muertos is a day to honor your ancestors and your deceased loved ones and to welcome them back with altars of their favorite things, pictures, candles, and marigolds.
According to MUA artist Judith Batista, the celebration involves displaying the favorite foods of the deceased and sharing stories of memories tied to them.
