Maria Larson's Mural Depicts Local Identity

By Alyssa DuVall, Reader Contributor. A mural by local artist Maria Larson, "Sandpoint Now and Then", was painted on the exterior of Sandpoint Super Drug.

Cars passed by with passengers shouting,

“Thank you!”
,
“It’s beautiful!”
, and
“We love you!”

Maria and her husband Lars covered the 45-foot wall with a vivid custom painting, celebrating the town.

Maria's work reminds us of the natural wonders surrounding us in the Inland Northwest.
