Treat Dreams to Reopen as Food Hall in 2026
Treat Dreams, a longtime Ferndale business located at 22965 Woodward Ave., will be transitioning into a food hall next year.
According to Scott Moloney, owner of the ice cream shop for 15 years, the idea to make this change had been in the works for the last year. The decision came after a sandwich business that previously operated at the site closed earlier this year, prompting Moloney to think of ways to help pay the building's rent.
The food hall will feature five permanent stalls and one rotating stall, allowing more small food shops to open up under its roof.
