Yorgos Lanthimos Needs a Break from Filmmaking
After releasing another award-worthy film, Yorgos Lanthimos is due for some rest. The 5x Oscar nominee admitted he needs "a little break" after his latest movie Bugonia's wide release.
"Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we’re certain of right now... It’s a big mistake. I’ve said that before in between the other three, but I’m serious now. I’m going to take a little break."
This comes after intending to take a breather after his previous two titles, Poor Things (2023) and Kinds of Kindness (2024). Author's note: Lanthimos takes a break.
