Rashid Tanko Computer, Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that the government is committed to passing the Anti-LBGTQI+ Bill.
“We are so committed to passing that bill to the extent that government wants to sponsor it itself,”
He emphasized that the government's position reflects Ghana's cultural and traditional values, which oppose same-sex relationships.
Tanko Computer dismissed claims of delay, citing that the government has been in power for less than a year and is still establishing necessary structures.
