Woman Damages Truck in Sault's Downtown

A woman caused damage to a truck at a downtown intersection last summer, court heard on Friday.

Ashley Biron pleaded guilty to several charges, including possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, mischief, missing court three times, and failing to report to a probation officer! The incidents occurred between March 2024 and September 2025.

She held handlebars over her head and said she was going to kill someone.

According to assistant Crown attorney Adrianna Mucciarelli, Biron was holding knives at Albert Street East and Bruce Street, threatening to kill someone on August 24, 2024. Ontario Court Justice Andrew Buttazzoni suggested Biron may have been having a “mental health episode” when she hurled an item at the truck.

Biron has 33 days of pre-sentence custody and was given one-and-a-half days credit for each day of incarceration.
