Truck Driver in Fatal California Crash
A truck driver, identified as 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, was allegedly under the influence of drugs when he caused a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 10 in Ontario, California, killing three people.
Singh has been charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of a drug causing injury, according to a criminal complaint.
He is also in the United States illegally, and an immigration detainer has been placed on him, as stated by the Department of Homeland Security.
