Tribute to Nathi Mthethwa
Nathi Mthethwa, the late Ambassador to France, passed away after falling from the 22nd floor of a hotel in Paris, France.
At his special official funeral in KwaMbonambi, KwaZulu-Natal, relatives and friends paid tribute to his kind and courageous nature.
"I cannot ask God why for love this great can never be explained nor measured by time."
His widow, Philisiwe Mthethwa, was too emotional to speak, but a relative read out her farewell message, describing Nathi as a cultured and nurturing family man.
Philisiwe and her daughters are still grappling with the pain of his death, but they remember him as a source of laughter and calm.
