Motorist Dies in Truck Accident in Gerona, Tarlac
A driver died and his one-year-old daughter is in critical condition after their car was hit by a truck on a highway in Gerona, Tarlac, on Friday morning.
“‘Yung truck biglang nag-swerve nang konti doon sa left side, so approaching po ‘yung ating kotse doon, Sir, so doon nagkabanggaan. Nawalan daw po siya ng kontrol doon sa makina,”
said Gerona Police acting chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Edilberto Santiago, explaining that the truck driver lost control due to a mechanical problem.
The driver was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, while his child is in the intensive care unit and his wife is safe.
