Two Northglenn residents, Patti Joslin, 69, and Dakotah Joslin, 32, have been charged with 109 counts of animal cruelty.
The charges stem from a mass animal rescue in July, where 117 animals were rescued from their home in the 1900 block of 116th Drive.
The Northglenn Police Department responded to a report of suspected animal neglect and cruelty on July 16, finding 117 animals living in unsanitary conditions.
A total of 96 cats and 19 dogs were removed from the home, with one dog and one cat found deceased.
The surviving animals were taken to the Riverdale Animal Shelter for care and evaluation.
No comment was made by the defendants.
