Randy Sharkey, airport manager at the Goshen Municipal Airport, has been involved in organizing numerous air shows in the area.
His interest in aviation began when his grandfather introduced him to flying wooden airplanes at a young age.
He is the airport manager at the Goshen Municipal Airport, which is owned by the city of Goshen, as well as a founder or co-founder of the Goshen air show America’s Freedom Fest, Rotors ‘n Ribs, and Friendship Flights Foundation.
Initially, Sharkey pursued a career in broadcasting, working as a full-time radio disc jockey during his senior year in high school.
