Canada's Team Jacobs Wins at 2025 Pan Continentals
Team Brad Jacobs, representing Canada, started the 2025 United States Steel Pan Continental Curling Championships with a victory.
The team, consisting of Brad Jacobs, Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant, Ben Hebert, and alternate Tyler Tardi, defeated China's Team Xiaoming Xu 10-4.
It's the first opportunity for Team Brad Jacobs to wear the Maple Leaf this season, and the team hopes it won’t be the last.
This win comes after their previous meeting at the 2025 BKT World Men's Curling Championship, where Team Jacobs won 11-2 against the Chinese team in the bronze-medal game.
The match took place at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minn., with Team Jacobs being coached by Paul Webster and national coach Jeff Stoughton.
