Canvas experienced a shutdown early Monday morning due to an ongoing failure of Amazon Web Services, affecting its services.
Course information for almost all classes at Tufts is hosted on Canvas, where students submit assignments, complete online assessments, and access study materials.
Piazza, a forum for out-of-class questions between students and professors, was also out of service but is now back online.
