Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious flat fire in Armagh on Friday night, rescuing three people from an upstairs property after they became trapped by smoke.
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 11.11pm on Friday, October 17, reporting a blaze at Culdee Terrace in the city. Fire crews from Armagh, Keady, Newtownhamilton and Lurgan, along with two senior officers, attended the scene.
“Breathing apparatus crews rescued three people utilising smoke hoods,”
A further person was treated for smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital as a precaution.
