Chiefs Chapel is changing what Sunday means for fans at Arrowhead

Chiefs Chapel: A New Sunday Tradition for Fans at Arrowhead

For years, Chiefs fans had to choose between attending church and getting to Arrowhead Stadium on game day. However, in 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt introduced a new concept: a church service at the stadium.

A non-denominational worship service is held every Sunday morning at the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of Arrowhead Stadium.

“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”
said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City.

The chapel has become a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans, thanks to dedicated volunteers who aim to create an authentic church experience. Chiefs Chapel now draws larger crowds each week.
