Tiger Woods has undergone his seventh back surgery, further delaying his PGA Tour return.
Woods, 49, announced on social media that he had lumbar disc replacement surgery on Friday to address lower back symptoms.
The scans determined that I had a collapsed disc in L4/5, disc fragments, and a compromised spinal canal.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Sheeraz Oureshi and his team at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and was deemed successful.
However, no timeframe has been set for Woods' PGA Tour return.
