A jewelry store at a west-end mall in Toronto was robbed by five masked suspects on Saturday evening, according to the Toronto Police.
The suspects, allegedly armed with hammers, smashed display cases and stole merchandise from the store, located inside a mall on Dufferin St.
Police received reports of the robbery at approximately 7:20 p.m. and responded to the scene, where they found damaged display cases and taped off the area.
Video shared on social media by Toronto lawyer Caryma Sa’d shows the damaged display cases and officers with guns drawn at the scene.
