A twin-engine plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, killing two people and igniting a fire that damaged at least ten semi-trucks.
The crash occurred at 1:30 p.m. in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale, and involved a King Air Twin Engine Aircraft that had departed Alliance Airport.
The fire was brought under control in 35 minutes at 2:11 P.M. with the help of 10 firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances.
