Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum was harassed by an unknown man who approached her, tried to kiss her, and touched her breast.
The incident occurred while the president was walking through the center of the capital, surrounded by a crowd and her team, who were slow to react.
The harassment was stopped by Juan José Ramírez Mendoza, head of the General Directorate of Aides-de-Camp, who stepped in between the president and the man.
The incident was captured on cell phone cameras by bystanders and highlights the issue of violence against women in Mexico.
